Seattle attorney and newspaper editor, Jack Steinberg (1915-2000), practiced law for 61 years and was active in Jewish community affairs, most notably through his involvement with the Seattle Talmud Torah Hebrew School and the American Jewish Congress. Steinberg was the owner of the law firm Steinberg & Steinberg. In 1929, he became president of Seattle Talmud Torah Hebrew School (which was renamed the Seattle Hebrew Academy in 1969).
